Set in the stunningly beautiful countryside of Laos, a landlocked country in South-east Asia, this involving story follows two runaways, Bo and Satu, as they traverse the landscape in search of the boy’s long lost mother.
Bo is a young woman who fled the capital city to pursue a life in photojournalism. Along the way, she encounters Satu, a Buddhist-raised orphan with his own personal goal in mind. He just might be the catalyst for the captivating story that Bo is seeking to write.
Berwick Film Society is delighted to invite Satu director Joshua Trigg to Berwick to introduce his film and share his inspiration for creating it.
